Tis the season of homecoming, you get the chance to put away your books and attend a concert with hopes of gaining memories forever. August Alsina hit the stage at Texas Southern University and performed his smash hit make it home. Unlike any performance Alsina brought his mom on stage for an intimate performance I’m sure she will cherish forever. Filled with emotion his mother hugged him as he finished the rest of the song. The lyrics have so much meaning due to his temporary stay in a hospital after collapsing on stage in NYC five weeks prior . It’s great to see Alsina doing better and more importantly cherishing his mom.
"My queen, my king, my sister, my mother, my brother, my all, my everything….So mama if I don't make it home tonight, mama know that I love you….My mama already lost one son; she can't lose another one…so mama if I don't make it home tonight, mama know that I love ya, leave some flowers for my brother…." ❤️ #AugustAlsina #TxsuHomecoming #AgencyForArtists #Mama #MakeItHome
