EX-Football Player In Trouble… Again

Former NFL player Larry Johnson, 34, was reportedly arrested October 7 around Miami Beach and charged with aggravated assault, according to {TMZ.}

Johnson became agitated when another customer at a hotel bar continually removed drinks from his table.

Johnson allegedly punched victim, club promoter Drew Johnson in the face, sending him crashing to the floor, broke a bottle and then began using the bottle as a weapon, cutting Drew, which led to a injury on his arm,” according to {TMZ.}

While Drew Johnson lay on the floor, Johnson then allegedly got on top of him and began punching his face repeatedly.

Drew told {TMZ,} “that he was minding his own business and Johnson is a violent thug who scarred him for life.”

The victim Johnson was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

“The charge for which I was arrested is false. The stories that have been reported in the media about the events leading to my arrest fail to accurately portray what really happened,” Johnson said according to {CBS Sports.} “At the end of the day, when the truth comes out, the allegations that have been made against me will be shown to be completely untrue and confirm that I have committed no crime whatsoever.”

Johnson was released on a $7,500 bail.

Johnson is no stranger to crimes.

In 2003, Johnson was arrested for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor domestic battery for waving a gun at his girlfriend at that time.

In 2005, he was again arrested for assault when a woman accused Johnson of pushing her to the ground.

In February 2008, Johnson allegedly pushed a woman’s head at a nightclub. Later that year, Johnson was arrested and charged with one count of non-aggravated assault for allegedly spitting a drink in a woman’s face at a Kansas City nightclub.

In March 2009, Johnson pleaded guilty to two counts of disturbing the peace, regarding the two incidents in 2008, which led to his sentencing of two years probation.

On October 5, 2012, Johnson was again arrested in Las Vegas for domestic violence charges that include strangulation, after meeting a former girlfriend at a Las Vegas Strip hotel and casino. Eventually Johnson was convicted of domestic violence battery and assault, was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay a $345 fine, along with being sentenced to 48 hours of community service and six months of counseling.

Johnson has not played on an NFL team since 2011 with the Miami Dolphins.

I will never understand why professional athletes act this way.  You are living the lifestyle about 90% of males would like to have, and you mess it all up with dumb mistake(s).  Now in this case, Johnson is just a fool.  He talking about how he didn’t do it….Bruh like cmon.  What the victim got to lie for?  It ain’t ya money cause you aint played in the NFL in three years.  I guess he took all the built up anger from not being in the NFL anymore out on him.  Welp, Johnson hasn’t learned his lesson still and will probably have to pay this time.
